Mattel was founded by Harold Matson and Elliot Handleer in 1945. They used some of the letters from each of their names to come up with their new company name. Mattel is the world’s largest toy manufacturer. Of course, their most popular doll has been Barbie. Mattel is very concerned about the security of their research department. The company’s research department is headed by a former missile engineer, and is strictly off-limits to all but a few employees. Most of the dolls made by Mattel were action toys. Tippee-Toes
Mattel - 1967
Tippee-Toes came with toys she could actually move. She is 16” tall,
battery operated and made of a hard plastic body with a soft vinyl head.
She has an open/close mouth with two lower molded and painted teeth.
Tippee came with a little trike that was blue plastic with yellow
trim and wheels and she also had a yellow horse with pink trim and green
wheels. Some of the horses had pink eyes, and some had black. This
Tippee’s horse ran away, so she will be coming to you with her trike
only. She is in very good condition and is operational. Price $89.99 Sold - watch for another

What little girl doesn't
love a party? The Little Mommy birthday Wishes Doll really blows
out the candle on her cake! Girls can also share slices of cake
while listening to the birthday party song! For added fun, girls
can also blow out the birthday candle. This doll is new and never
removed from her box. She has a vinyl head, arms and legs on a
cloth body. Price $34.99 Cheerful Tearful is a 13 inch
vinyl doll with joints at her neck, arms, and legs. With her left
arm in an upward position, she is smiling and cheerful. When you
lower her left arm she pouts and makes a crying sound. When she is
fed water, she cries real tears and wets too! This little gal is
in great condition and is wearing her original outfit all the way down
to her hard to find booties! The elastic has relaxed with time in
her top and on her booties. Her hair is nice and shiny, though a
tad dry on the ends and her
face paint is nice. We have given her a replacement bottle and she
did cry tears! Price $49.99
Baby Cheerful Tearful smiles
happily until you squeeze her tummy. Then she really pouts.
If you fed her, she'll cry real tears too. This doll originally
came dressed in a pink flannel gown, panties, and booties trimmed with
lace, as well as a little bottle. The crib shown was from the "sleepytime
Set" and there was also a playhouse, play case, and many outfits
available. You will receive the doll in her complete original
outfit, hairbrush, and the crib. We do not have a bottle to test if she still
really cries. Price $39.99 This cute little doll
is about 14 inches tall and would be a great first baby! She has a
vinyl head and 1/4 length vinyl arms and legs on a very soft and "flumpy"
flannel body. She has her name stenciled on her bib. The
really sweet feature about this baby is, when you stick her thumb in her
mouth, she makes a kissing sound. She has very pretty blue/violet
eyes and platinum blonde hair that is layered up in the back. She
is very sweet! Price $9.99 Baby Whisper is 17 -1/2 inches
long with a cloth body and vinyl arms , legs, and head. She has
wonderful paint and all ten fingers and toes and is tagged Baby Whisper.
The previous owner removed her talking mechanism. Baby Whisper is
wearing her original outfit and it looks as good as new. This is a
very hard doll to find. Price $49.99 The Bathtime Fun Mom and Baby Boy
features Mrs. Heart wearing a pink and white striped jumpsuit and yellow
apron with pink and blue hearts; her son is wrapped in a blue towel.
It's bath time! With the Heart Family, bathtime is always funtime! This
item comes to you new in the box with slight shelf wear (see photo for
your evaluation). Price $14.99 The Schooltime fun Teacher Dad and
Girl features Mr. Heart wearing a blue tee-shirt with "COACH" logo,
yellow shorts, and tennis shoes, along with his daughter wearing a pink
gym suit and shoes. Two tennis racks, a soccer ball, and brush are
included in the original box ( some shelf wear). Price $14.99 The Schooltime fun Teacher Mom and
Boy features Mrs. Heart in a pink dress with blue heart-shaped glasses
with her son, wearing a school uniform. A lunchbox, thermos, ruler,
pencil, scissors, brush, a dot to dot picture, a rhyming game, a maze,
photos of the 1989 Heart Family line, and coupons are included with the
dolls in their original box with slight shelf wear. Price $14.99 Miracle Baby Doll House Playset This is THE set for a little girl who likes to take
care of a baby. This set would also be perfect for “On The Go”
Traveling. Little Miracle baby has her own portable dollhouse with a
handy dandy handle. It measures 11 inches by 8 inches and features a
baby seat on the outside to carry and store the 9 inch doll. It has
two doors that fold out to reveal her little nursery complete with
Murphy style bed, toy box that opens, a mirror, a dresser drawer that
opens for her things, there is even a little mobile that hangs over
her bed. The accessories we have for this little darlin are a rattle,
and a bottle.
Price $9.99 Dora the Explorer Dora sings and speaks in English and Spanish. You can
grow and shorten Dora’s hair! Just touch the wand to the jewel on the
crown, and her hair magically grows. Touch the jewel again and it
shortens. Each time it happens the large jewel lights up. Dora is in
excellent condition in her original box with a wand, two barrettes,
and a brush.

Adopted Little Mommy Little Mommy Baby’s First Doll is made by Fisher
Price! This innocent little faced doll measures about 14 inches in
length. The doll is soft, cuddly and baby powder scented just like a
real baby. Many accessories including changeable clothes, strollers,
car seats, high chairs and play stations are available to accompany
this very popular product. This baby is in very good condition but
does have a rub on one of the painted booties.
Price $7.99 Dora The Explorer Buenas Noches Talking Doll This Fisher Price Dora is dressed in her PJ’s holding
her star friend Glowy. Squeeze her hand and she says phrases in
English and Spanish and encourages the child to interact with her. She
says specific phrases during they day when she’s sitting up and
magically knows when you lay her down to sleep. When you lay her down,
her phrases change and she sings her Buenas Noches song. Along the way
fun light patterns twinkle and Glowy, her star friend joins in. Some
