Lee Middleton began creating her dolls in 1978. She sculpted her first dolls at her kitchen table using her own daughter and son as models. Refined in form, renowned for their enduring beauty and ever increasing value, Lee’s dolls have come to be prized among the world’s most desirable collectibles. One of her trademarks was a testament of her faith, which she shared by including a small white bible with key scriptures with each doll.

Here is another wonderful sculpt by Reva Schick for Middleton. It is the very special Club Members Only Doll for the year 2002. She is signed and numbered. The toddler doll is about 21 inches tall and has beautiful strawberry blonde curly hair and pretty blue eyes. She comes with two outfits, the first is a pink satin dress with a lace jacket that closes with a silk rose pin, panties, a lace trimmed tulle slip, matching satin hat, shoes, and socks. The second outfit is a cute little white satin onsie with puffy sleeves. This precious doll is the sweetness face in light skin tone. She comes with her little baby who is in a very nice dark wood trunk with even more accessories! This is Lee Middleton's Vintage Rose Light. Rose was the first sculpt for Middleton by Jannie DeLange. She is a very large toddler doll at 24 inches tall and has a vinyl head, 3/4 length vinyl arms and legs on a soft cloth body. Rose is the Punkin Head sculpt and has dark hair and blue eyes. Her dress is a soft mauve velvet dress with lace trim at the neck and sleeves with a silk rose added, as well as one on her matching headband. She is wearing white tights and black Mary Jane shoes. Rose also comes to you new in her box with her Boyd's bear, all her paperwork, and a little acrylic name tag for displaying. The retail price of this Limited Edition of 424 dolls is $180.00.
